John Murray, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Murray has been our Managing Trustee, President and Chief Executive Officer since 2018. He is also Executive Vice President of our manager, The RMR Group LLC (RMR), and a member of the RMR Executive Operating Committee. Prior to joining RMR in 1993, Mr. Murray worked at Fidelity Investments and Ernst & Young LLP. He is a member of Marriott International's Owner Advisory Council and the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Hotel Development Council. Mr. Murray earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Syracuse University.

Richard W. Siedel, Jr., Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Mr. Siedel has been our Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since our formation. He is also Senior Vice President of our manager, The RMR Group LLC (RMR) and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Senior Housing Properties Trust (Nasdaq: SNH). Prior to joining RMR in 2013, Mr. Siedel was Corporate Controller at Sensata Technologies (NYSE: ST) from 2010 to 2013 and was an auditor at Ernst & Young LLP from 2001 to 2010. Mr. Siedel is a certified public accountant and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.

Jennifer B. Clark, Secretary

Ms. Clark has been our Secretary since 2018. Ms. Clark has held positions with our manager, The RMR Group LLC, and its affiliated companies since 1999. Prior to that, Ms. Clark was a Partner at the law firm of Sullivan & Worcester LLP where she had a broad based real estate practice, including representing secured lenders, borrowers, joint venture partners and investors in loans and leveraged transactions. Ms. Clark earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctorate from Boston University Law School.

Vern D. Larkin, Director of Internal Audit

Mr. Larkin has been our Director of Internal Audit since 2018. Mr. Larkin has held positions with our manager, The RMR Group LLC, and its affiliated companies since 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Larkin practiced law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, specializing in corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and other transactional matters for more than 12 years. Mr. Larkin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Juris Doctorate from University of Connecticut School of Law.
